1. Fully Managed Training Service
Outsourcing to a fully managed training provider like HGVC ensures that all aspects of your driver training are handled professionally, from initial assessments to final certification. This approach significantly reduces the amount of time you spend on time-consuming admin tasks such as finding local training centres, booking driver medicals and organising re-tests.
2. Comprehensive Driver Assessment Programme
Before enrolling drivers in training programmes, we conduct thorough assessments to understand each driver’s specific needs and skill levels. This helps tailor training to address gaps and build on existing knowledge, ensuring more effective learning outcomes.
3. Cutting-Edge Technology
The HGVC app enables drivers to practice theory, take mock tests, communicate with customer service, and view their training schedule—all in one place. Our client portal also offers managers real-time updates and comprehensive reporting, providing a single point of access for all your training needs.
4. Our Trainers Encourage Ongoing Professional Development
All our driving instructors and course trainers actively promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development. We believe this is important as it helps drivers stay sharp and informed about the latest industry developments.
5. We Offer Specialised Training
Consider additional specialised training for your drivers, such as ADR (transport of dangerous goods) and HIAB (lorry loader) certification. This not only broadens their skill set and increases staff retention, but also enhances the versatility and capability of your fleet.
This government funding initiative aims to address the driver shortage by providing funded training programmes that help businesses upskill their existing workforce or recruit new drivers.
At HGVC, we are proud to align our training solutions with this government initiative, offering you the expertise and support needed to make the most of the HGV Skills Bootcamp.
To enroll in our HGV training course, you must have a full UK driving licence and be over 18 years old.
Grandfather rights, more officially known as ‘acquired rights’ refers to different regulations being in place at the time that you took your original driving test. For HGV drivers specifically, this usually means that you did not have to take the Driver CPC initial qualification. However, it’s important to note that drivers with acquired rights must still undertake periodic training.
