ALTERNATIVE FUEL VEHICLE (AFV) TRAINING COURSE

5-hour Intensive Training: Covering all the essential aspects of charging, driving, and loading AFVs.

WHAT ARE AFVs?

AFVs are classed as any vehicle that runs on a fuel source other than diesel or petrol. The current most popular choices are Hydrogen fuel cell, electric battery powered, natural gas, or biogas. As the transport industry moves towards greener solutions, the demand for skilled drivers trained in Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) is on the rise.

What is the AFV Training course?

Our AFV training certification is tailored to provide drivers with an in-depth understanding of the various types of alternative fuels, including hydrogen, electricity, natural gas, and biogas products.

Our in-depth AFV course covers the unique characteristics and operational requirements of each fuel type, ensuring that drivers are fully prepared and legally permitted to handle AFVs out in the real world.

At HGVC, we offer a intensive, 5-hour, AFV training course that’s designed to equip category B licence holders with the knowledge and skills needed to operate zero emission vehicles weighing up to 4.25t legally, safely and efficiently.
