Account Executive

Job Description:

HGVC is the UK’s leading provider of logistics training solutions to businesses. The Account Executive role is an excellent opportunity to use your sales skills to expand the HGVC customer network across the UK. Your primary focus will be to manage and grow a portfolio of clients by using your specialist prospecting, relationship building and negotiation skills to win new business.

To be a successful, you should be a target-driven strategic thinker with excellent communication skills. You should also be self-motivated, demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines and have strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

· Utilise prospecting skills and senior relationships to navigate sophisticated organisations and build partnerships with the UK’s major logistics, construction, manufacturing and retail brands.

· Develop and execute against an account plan to deliver monthly and quarterly targets.

· Collaborating with the wider corporate sales team – Sales Development and Client Success – to ensure the company’s goals and targets are met.

· You’ll be supported by the Sales Director and the Commercial Director, along with the wider company.

Requirements:

· 3+ year of successful experience in a Business-to-Business sales role

· Experience sourcing and driving partnerships to closure and a proven track record of delivering targets

· Exemplary collaboration and communication skills to work with a highly diverse set of internal and external partners

· Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.

· Good time management and analytical skills.

· Meticulous organisation skills.

· Experience with Salesforce preferred.

· Experience in logistics or driver training would be advantageous.
